lumiere_mods I am not really Henry DeTamble nor am I Audrey Niffenegger. This is for fun.)
My name is Henry DeTamble. I was born in Chicago Illinois in 1963. I am the son of a violinist and an operatic singer, although my mother died in a car accident when I was six years old. Despite being from musically prodigious stock, I am musically talentless and I have chosen, instead, the path of librarian.
When I was five years old I developed a rare genetic condition known as "chronodisplacement", which is basically the involuntary ability to travel back in time. It's a bit like epilepsy in the sense that I am triggered by certain things--flashing lights, loud noises, headache. I often end up naked and hungry, in places I am unfamiliar with. If you see me running down the street naked, buy me a sweater and a sandwich, please!
